Welcome to the wonderful world of third grade! Third grade is definitely filled with exciting and challenging experiences. The expectations are very high, but we will have a lot of fun along the way. Daily, weekly and monthly information will be posted  here, so be sure to check in often! If you have any questions throughout the school year please send me a note, an email, or call me at school. Looking forward to a fabulous year together!

Monday: Art 1:00-1:40
Tuesday: Lib/Tech 10:00-10:40-P.E. 1:40-2:20 
Wednesday: Lib/Tech 11:20 -12:00
Thursday: P.E 10:40-11:20
Friday: Music 1:00-1:40 Spanish 1:40-2:20

​Remember to wear gym uniform and sneakers on Physical Education days.
All SPECIALS start on the first full day of school (Friday, 9/8/17)

I will be offering Extra help on Tuesday morning at 7:30 in our classroom. All are welcome to attend! Start date is October 10, 2017

Please send in $5 in an envelope for our Thanksgiving celebration by 11/6/17

There will be a spelling and Vocabulary test on Friday, October 27, 2017. 

This week we will be reading: Bat Loves the Night

Spelling and Vocabulary words were given out on Friday, October 20, 2017. 

You can find these words under useful links on our class page.

Students will be asked to write 5 out of 8 vocabulary words into complete sentences as part as their vocabulary test on Friday.

There will be a Religion Chapter 3 test on Monday, October 22, 2017.  Students should use their Religion book pages 51- 60,Mother Teresa packet and Religion Review  Sheet to study. The Review Sheet was sent home on Monday, October 16, 2017. Students were told about this test on Monday, October 16, 2017.

Emergency Drill, Wednesday, November 22, 2017. All must leave the building 15 minutes prior to dismissal. Dismissal will begin at 11:15. No aftercare on this day!

October 27th is $1 Dress Down and in the evening, is Trick-or-Trunk from 6:45-8:45pm.

There is no School on November 1, 2017 due to All Saint’s Day. 


Our first party will be to celebrate Halloween. Our celebration will be on October 31st at 1:15.

Our second Scholastic Book Order is due on 11/6/17-Online Code  MFF8D 


School Pictures are on October 23rd. Students are to wear their Full Winter uniform.

Individual student pictures are on October 24th. Students may dress up or wear their winter uniform.

10/27/17 Trick or Trunk 6:45 Trunk or Treating/ 7:30-8:45 Dance $10.00 per family.

Dismissal Policy:
All changes in dismissal are to made by note to Ms. Tocci. If a note is not received, your child's regular dismissal will be followed. There are extra dismissal forms located in the Resources section to print at home. 

Please send in an absence note when your child returns to school, even if you have called the school. A note must be on file for all absences. 

Teacher Request: If anyone is able to donate to our class board games for inside recess such as Trouble, Connect Four, Sorry, Jenga, or Legos, it would be greatly appreciated
