Welcome to the wonderful world of third grade! Third grade is definitely filled with exciting and challenging experiences. The expectations are very high, but we will have a lot of fun along the way. Daily, weekly and monthly information will be posted  here, so be sure to check in often! If you have any questions throughout the school year please send me a note, an email, or call me at school. Looking forward to a fabulous year together!

Tuesday: Spanish 9:20-10:00/Music 10:00-10:40
Wednesday: P.E.- 8:40- 9:20
Thursday: Art 8:40-9:20/P.E.- 1:00-1:40
Friday: Library/Tech 10:00-10:40

The Week of 3/20/17 

Religion

There will be a Religion Chapter 10 test on, Friday, March 24, 2017.

Students should review Religion book pages 155-161 and 163-164.  Students can go towww.blestarewe.com. They can click on (students) and select Take a Quiz to review questions from Chapter 10.

STUDENTS NEED TO HAVE THEIR RELIGION BOOK WITH THEM ON THE DAY OF THE TEST.

There are no Spelling and Vocabulary words this week.  

I will be collecting $5.oo for our Easter Celebration. Please send in the money by Friday, April 7th, 2017

Please have the students wear their winter uniform to school the day of the science fair, not their gym uniform.


TUESDAY, MARCH 21, SCIENCE FAIR ROBOT PROJECT IS DUE.

Thursday, March 23, there is no school due to Teacher Conference.

Wednesday, April 5, Assessment Card Conferences.  Conferences will be scheduled upon either teacher or parent request.

 

Science Fair Project

Students received information about their Science Fair project on Friday, February 3, 2017.

All robot projects are due in class on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.

All robot models will be on display for the Science Fair on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. Students will present to their class on March 21 and to the school on March 22.

Please sign the requirements form and return it to school by Thursday, Feb. 9th

 

Math

Students should practice the 7 times tables. There will be a quiz on Thursday, March 16th.

School will be open on Friday,  May 26, 2017 for Extension Friday.

Thursday, June 22nd is our Last Day of School with a 10:30 Dismissal

I will be offering Extra help in Math on Tuesday morning at 7:30 in our classroom. All are welcome to attend! Start date is October 4, 2016


Dismissal Policy:
All changes in dismissal are to made by note to Ms. Tocci. If a note is not received, your child's regular dismissal will be followed. There are extra dismissal forms located in the Resources section to print at home. 

Absences: 
Please send in an absence note when your child returns to school, even if you have called the school. A note must be on file for all absences. 

Teacher Request: If anyone is able to donate to our class board games for inside recess such as Trouble, Connect Four, Sorry, Jenga, or Legos, it would be greatly appreciated
