Welcome to the wonderful world of third grade! Third grade is definitely filled with exciting and challenging experiences. The expectations are very high, but we will have a lot of fun along the way. Daily, weekly and monthly information will be posted  here, so be sure to check in often! Thursday:  PE-10:40- 11:20
Friday:  Music 1:00 1:40 Spanish 1:40 2:20


​Remember to wear gym uniform and sneakers on Physical Education days.
All SPECIALS start on the first full day of school (Friday, 9/7/18)

Students should have a book to read in their desk. 

Friday, October 12th was the last day to wear summer uniforms. 

IOWA TEST will be on October 23rd-24th and 25th Students need to have sharpened #2 pencils and an extra snack.

 

Thursday, October 25th is Trunk or Treat. 

Friday, October 26th- School is closed for the Diocesan Conference.

There is no School on November 1, 2018 due to All Saints Day.

For Spelling homework, students are to choose a different activity each night for Mon., Tues., and Wed. 

ELA 

This week, the students will continue to read Bat Loves the Night from Journeys:   There  will be a spelling and voc test on Friday. The spelling and voc words were given to the students on October 12th. 

 

Our Halloween celebration will be on Oct. 31st at 1:10 pm.

Our 4th Annual Trunk or Treat will be held on Thursday, Oct.25th. Trunk or Treating is from 7:00 to 7:45 and Dance is from 7:45 8:45.
Scholastic Book Orders. Our online class code is MFF8D. Our first book order is due on Nov. 19, 2018

I will be offering Extra help on Tuesday morning at 7:30 in our classroom. All are welcome to attend! Start date is October 9, 2018


Dismissal Policy:
All changes in dismissal are to made by note to Ms. Tocci. If a note is not received, your child's regular dismissal will be followed. There are extra dismissal forms located in the Resources section to print at home. 

Absences: 
Please send in an absence note when your child returns to school, even if you have called the school. A note must be on file for all absences. 

Teacher Request: If anyone is able to donate to our class board games for inside recess such as Trouble, Connect Four, Sorry, Jenga, or Legos, it would be greatly appreciated
